so ok, i was watching phantom of the opera for the zillionth time and i'm so dense cuz i can never figure out the part about "keep your hand at the level of your eye" and the only thing i can think of is maybe it's so he doesn't think ur staring at him or something cuz it's not like he pokes people in the eye, or maybe cuz if ur hand is up by ur face u can stop from getting hung or soemthing...i have no idea. actually there's a lot about that movie i don't get, like when they're preforming don juan and they know it's the phantom why do they wait all that time while they're singing "past the point of no return" and not go get him, i mean at least creep up on him or something, it's not like he's paying attention when he's all googley eyed on christine...o well, i suppose that wouldn't make for a great play/movie if u ended it the normal easy way.

be yourself, don't tense up, laugh and smile and comb ur hair...
